    Former Governor Evans Kidero Released On Sh.2 Million Cash Bail

    Former governor Evans Kidero and the ex county treasury boss have been released on a cash bail of Sh.2 million. The two were accused of mismanagement and embezzlement of funds while at the Nairobi county office.

    The office of the ODPP had received information concerning alleged criminal activities involving Nairobi City County Government officials touching on the mismanagement and embezzlement of Public funds.

    After investigations the EACC found information linking the former governor and 7 others  to embezzlement and mismanagement of funds working in the the county.
