    Governor Nyong’o Comes To The Rescue Of Patients At JOORTH Forced To Pay For Toilets

    Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong’o through the County department of Health has ordered Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital to stop charging patients for use of toilets.

    This comes after public outcry where patients an care givers claimed they were being forced to pay Sh10 before using toilets at the facility.

    In a letter to the Chief Executive officer of the hoital, Kisumu County’s director of health asked the hospital to stop charging patients immediately citing numerous complaints by members of the public.

    The quick move comes after planned demonstration by Kisumu residents against the hospital’s new development.
