    David Zucker was born in October 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he grew up with a love for film and comedy. Alongside his collaborators Jim Abrahams and Jerry Zucker, he became fascinated with spoof comedy, eventually forming the creative trio that would change the genre forever.

    He followed this success with more hit parodies, including “Top Secret!” and “Ruthless People,” before creating one of the most beloved comedy franchises ever, “The Naked Gun.”
