An ordinary citizen, Ibrahim Ewoi is said to have stolen a gun from an administration policeman and shot his wife before shooting himself in the head.
The man who is from Kampi Samaku in Marigat, Baringo is alleged to have had an unsolved feud with his ex- wife, whom they separated six months ago.
According to investigations by one of the dailies, the man is reported to have gotten the officer drunk first before stealing his gun.

“The man was with the officer, cunningly he bought him some chang’aa and the officer got drunk. It is then that the man managed to take the gun from him and walked away with it,” the officer told a local daily.
The man is said to have stolen the gun and went to his former wife, Purity Elim’s home where he shot her in the leg before turning the gun against himself.
The man died immediately while the wife sustained leg injuries. She is currently receiving treatment at Baringo County Hospital.
The Administration Police Officer has since been arrested as investigations continue.
