IEBC Commissioner Dr. Roselyn Akombe has distanced herself from the screenshots making rounds that show that she had conversations with NASA leaders for her to push to have the IEBC servers to be hosted in Kenya.

She said that the said messages were false and do not represent her views as an impartial public servant.

The commissioner said that this was not the first time such screen shots were appearing and that the were all proven to be false.

She said that this were just efforts to tarnish the name IEBC ahead of the fresh presidential elections in October.

Dr. Akombe felt sad that Kenyans could still fall prey to such deceptions that were meant to divide the country.

Please be careful of fake screenshots of purported conversations being shared on social media. They are malicious propaganda. #ElectionsKE pic.twitter.com/0d74yK2pzp
