Japanese top division league, J-1, has amended a section of its rules to allow Vissel Kobe’s new signing, Andres Iniesta to wear his favorite no. 8 shirt.

The League prohibits change of jersey numbers mid season but, this will change with the coming of the former Barcelona man and Fernando Torres from Atletico Madrid.

Vissel Kobe’s Hirokota Mita will now wear no. 7 as the 33-year old use no. 8.

Elsewhere in Sagan Tosu, the arrival of Torres will see striker Chosu Dong-geon use no. 19 to pave way for the El Nino’s favourite no. 9.
