Former Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin is facing a lawsuit filed by a former business partner who accuses her of breaching an investment agreement tied to a pickleball venture.

According to a civil complaint filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court on April 15 and obtained by PEOPLE, Noah Springer alleges that Zarin wrongfully excluded him from profits and decision-making within Pickle Pro Labs, a company formerly known as Pickle Innovation Studios.

Springer claims he invested $500,000 into the business in December 2022, which allegedly secured him a 25% ownership stake. He further alleges that the company was later rebranded in 2024 as Pickle Pro Labs.

In the filing, Springer states that he was led to believe Zarin would act in the best interests of the company and its stakeholders. He also alleges that he contributed additional funds, covered business expenses, and provided labour and services without receiving reimbursement. Springer claims he was promised a monthly payment of $5,000, which reportedly stopped in May 2024.

The complaint further accuses Zarin and business partner Gary Brody of misusing company funds for personal expenses and diverting investor money for their own benefit. It also alleges that the pair launched a separate entity, GNG Enterprises FL, which developed and sold a pickleball-related machine called Go-No-Go, allegedly using resources and intellectual property linked to Pickle Pro Labs.

Springer claims he has been excluded from profits generated through the new venture and alleges that he has been blocked from accessing company accounts. He is also seeking court intervention, including preliminary injunctive relief, to protect his interests.

An attorney representing Springer said the legal action was a last resort, stating that efforts had been made to resolve the dispute amicably.

“Mr. Springer remains open to a reasonable resolution but will continue to pursue all available legal remedies to protect his rights,” the attorney said.

Zarin and Brody have been accused in the complaint of continuing to operate the separate business while allegedly denying Springer access to corporate benefits and revenues.

The lawsuit comes months after Zarin was reportedly dropped from E!’s upcoming Real Housewives docuseries The Golden Life, following controversy over comments she made regarding Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance.
