The wrangles within the Jubilee party seem to be widening with the alleged registration of a new party.
Leaders largely drawn from the Mt. Kenya region felt that their bargaining power was not as strong since the The National Alliance (TNA) was dissolved.
They leaders have resorted to write to the registrar of political parties to reserve the name for the Transformation National Alliance party(TNA). The new party has been given till July to duly complete the registration of the new party that is seemingly a rebirth of the TNA party.

This comes just a month after there were speculation of a rebirth of the Ruto led URP party.
In what was seen as a way of announcing their stand, the supporters, mostly youths hinted at retreating to DP Ruto’s former party, United Republican Party (URP) should Jubilee deny him a direct presidential ticket.
The youth also had their t-shirts engraved on them a hashtag #teamWSR, when they showed up to welcome Ruto to Banana, Kiambu County.
According to political commentators, the “yellow reception” was a clear reflection of the divisions in the ruling party that is now trickling down between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the hustler’s supporters.
