The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) says all its airports are now operating normally following the full resumption of Air Traffic Control (ATC) services.

KAA said both arriving and departing flights are being facilitated across its airport network.

Between 3 am and noon today, Kenya’s major airports handled a total of 244 flights, comprising arrivals and departures.

    1. Wilson Airport: 140 flights
    2. Jomo Kenyatta International Airport: 55 flights
    3. Moi International Airport: 23 flights
    4. Eldoret International Airport: 14 flights
    5. Kisumu International Airport: 12 flights

KAA said it is working with airlines and other aviation stakeholders to progressively restore flight schedules and facilitate the smooth movement of passengers and cargo.

Passengers whose travel plans were disrupted have been advised to remain in contact with their airlines for the latest flight information and confirm their arrangements before travelling to the airport.

The authority said its airport teams remain fully deployed to support safe, secure and efficient operations.

The development follows the disruption of aviation operations caused by the earlier interruption of ATC services, which affected flights and left passengers stranded at various airports.
