The Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA) has announced a vacancy for the position of Director General. The job opening was made public through a notice published in the MyGov newspaper on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
Interested candidates are required to submit a detailed application that includes a curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, transcripts, a National Identity Card or passport, testimonials, and any other relevant documents. Each applicant must clearly state the reference number for the position applied for.
Applications can be submitted in two ways. Hard copy applications should be addressed to the Director General of Kenya Maritime Authority and dropped in a recruitment box at the Bahari Towers reception on the ground floor.
Alternatively, candidates may submit their applications online by sending a single PDF document to the email address chairman-1@kma.go.ke.
Applicants have until 5:00 pm on May 12, 2025, to submit their applications. More details about the vacancy are available on the Authority’s website at www.kma.go.ke.
“Successful candidates will be required to submit valid compliance certificates from Kenya Revenue Authority, a registered Credit Reference Bureau, Higher Education Loans Board and a certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations,” the notice reads.
