
Scores of Kenyans were stuck in bus terminals in different parts of the country due to lack of transport from different parts of the country.
Various saccos were forced to ply alternative routes to at least try and make a killing out the travelers desperation.
KMO sacco matatus which are well known for plying the Kangemi route were spotted ferrying passengers to Kisumu.
The travelers were forced to pay exorbitant prices to travel to their various destinations .

However the travelers said the shortage was artificial and that the bus companies just wanted to deliberately hike the fares .
There has been a call from politicians that voters should not flee from Nairobi if they had registered to vote there.
The General elections are set for Tuesday the 8th of August 2017.
