Dan Norton claimed a hat-trick of tries for England while Phil Burgess had one. Kenya replied through Cyprian Kuto and Leonard Mugaisi whose try was unconverted.
Kenya will next face Fiji at 3.20pm before closing their group campaign against France at 6.41pm.
