The number of staff affected by Cholera at the Nairobi Hospital has risen to 52, sources say.

The staff are currently hospitalized at the hospital.

The new revelations contradict an earlier statement issued by the hospital that the facility was in control of the situation.

On Monday, a staff member reportedly died of cholera due to negligence at the facility.

The management, however, issued a statement to dismiss the claims of cholera within the premier health facility.

On Tuesday, the hospital, reported 23 cases of cholera patients admitted at the facility, further dismissing death reports.
