Nakuru County governor Lee Kinyanjui has suspended six members of the public service management board over what he termed as ‘corrupt and shameful malpractices.’

The government put the board on notice saying that they are largely mentioned in recruitment malpractices such as receiving bribes and sexual exploitation.

The newly elected governor sent six of the board members on a one month compulsory leave to pave way for investigations.

The governor also sent home a few sub county administrators, ward administrators on indefinite or leave.

Governor Kinyanjui said that most of the county’s revenue was ending up in a few peoples pockets, something that he will have none of in his administration.
