NASA had on Monday petitioned the court to give them access to the IEBC servers to conduct an audit of the August 8 election.
The court granted the petitioners access to ‘read only’ information on the electoral commission’s servers.
However with only 10 hours left to the conclusion of the audit, the petitioners claim they are yet to be given access to the servers and only got printed out logs.
The access included, the IEBC servers, password policy and matrix, certified copies of certificate of penetration test conducted by IEBC on the election technology systems prior to the 2017 elections and specific GPRS location of each KIEMs kit used during the elections.

Nasa was also allowed access into the log in trails of users and equipment into the IEBC servers and access to the public portal from the 5th of August.
NASA lawyer Paul Mwangi stated that they had been stone walled and were being given computer logs for last week which they rejected.
At IEBC. We've been stonewalled. No Read Only Access. They want to give already printed logs. It's back to court in the morning.

He said that the deadline would be unachievable as they left the IEBC office at 4:30 A.m without being given access.
Just from IEBC . There is no one. Exercise was to continue this morning after stalemate yesterday at 4.30 AM. Now no access to meeting room.

Various efforts to speak to the IEBC Chief Executive Officer proved futile.
