    Early Life

Nikki Bella was born Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace on November 21, 1983, in San Diego, California. She was born sixteen minutes before her identical twin sister, Brie Bella. The twins were raised on a farm near Scottsdale, Arizona, where they developed a strong interest in athletics at an early age.

Nikki was particularly passionate about soccer and initially planned to pursue a professional career in the sport. However, a serious leg injury ended those aspirations. After graduating from high school, she returned to San Diego to attend Grossmont College, but left after about a year to move to Los Angeles in hopes of breaking into the entertainment industry.

In her early days in Los Angeles, Nikki worked as a waitress while attending auditions. Once she secured representation, she quickly found opportunities in modeling, acting, and promotional work. One of her first notable television appearances was on the reality show “Meet My Folks.” She and her sister also appeared in a Budweiser World Cup commercial, which gave them early national exposure.

In 2006, the Bella Twins competed in the International Body Doubles Twins Search and auditioned for the WWE Diva Search, though neither effort resulted in immediate success.

    WWE Career

In 2007, Nikki Bella and her sister signed contracts with WWE and were introduced as The Bella Twins. They began their careers in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), WWE’s developmental territory. During this period, Nikki also competed in bikini contests while refining her in-ring skills.

Brie Bella made her televised debut on SmackDown in 2008, with Nikki officially introduced shortly afterward. The twins became widely known for their tag team matches and their signature “Twin Magic” tactic, where they secretly switched places during matches to gain an advantage.

Between 2011 and 2012, Nikki Bella emerged as a dominant singles competitor and won her first Divas Championship. Although the twins briefly stepped away from WWE, they returned in 2013, coinciding with the launch of the hit reality series “Total Divas.” The show significantly boosted Nikki’s profile and earnings.

Nikki went on to become the longest-reigning Divas Champion in WWE history, a milestone that defined her wrestling career. Due to injuries, particularly serious neck issues, Nikki officially retired from in-ring competition in 2019. In 2020, she and Brie Bella were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

In 2012, she began dating WWE superstar John Cena, and the couple became one of wrestling’s most high-profile relationships. Cena proposed at WrestleMania 33, but the engagement was called off in 2018.

Following her appearance on Dancing with the Stars, Nikki began dating her professional dance partner Artem Chigvintsev. The two became engaged in 2020 and welcomed their first child later that year.

In addition to her entertainment career, Nikki Bella is a licensed real estate agent. In 2020, she listed a nearly 10,000-square-foot home in Arizona for just under $2 million, featuring five bedrooms and multiple fireplaces.
