Migori Governor Okoth Obado on Wednesday for the first time since the ‘brutal murder’ of Sharon Otieno displayed his wife and children at a press conference.

Speaking for the first time in public, the governor denied having a hand in the murder of the Rongo student who his lawyer, Cliff Ombeta confirmed he was in a relationship with.

After reading his press statement, the county boss quickly introduced his wife, daughter and son to the members of the fourth estate.

He also asked Kenyans to avoid speculating and for the police to speed up the investigations.

“I ask all agencies involved to speed up investigations so the killers are brought to book as quickly as possible,” he said.
