The government has further withdrawn NASA leader, Raila Odinga’s security team from his Bondo home.
His and Kalonzo Musyoka’s bodyguards were recalled on Tuesday without notice, said the former Prime Minister.
Odinga is said to have hired private security for his home where the officers were withdrawn on Wednesday.
Acting CS Interior and Coordination, Fred Matiang’i has however said that the state will not reinstate Odinga’s security as ‘they misuse the officers.’
”I heard one politician say that we either return the police officers or they call for mass action. They can proceed and call for mass action because that position is not going to change,” he said in Kajiado.

“Why should we give you 20 police officers to loiter from press conference to press conference, from hotel to hotel, when they are needed elsewhere?” he posed.
NASA Mps had threatened to call for mass action should the state not reinstate Odinga, Kalonzo within 24 hours.
