Kapseret MP and Deputy President William Ruto’s ally Oscar Sudi has warned CS Fred Matiang’i and his PS, Karanja Kibicho against undermining the DP.
Addressing reporters in Eldoret on Sunday the legislator threatened to expose the two government officials should they continue frustrating Ruto’s efforts.
“We will soon even expose the details on the Ruaraka land scandal because they think we don’t know what is happening,” the lawmaker said.
He further noted that PS Kibicho has been holding secret meetings with those against Ruto. Kibicho has apparently been funding the alleged detractors.
“Soon we will spill all that we know and let them be aware that we know all that they have been doing in those meetings,” he added.
Sudi also denied that there are rifts within the ruling party insisting that they will not be pushed out of the party that was formed in 2016.
He also responded to COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli who over the weekend told the people of Lamu that DP’s name will be missing on the ballot come 2022.
In response to Atwoli’s sentiments, Sudi said: ““I thought Atwoli is an elder whom I should not answer but he has proved that his head and big stomach are full of rubbish. He is supposed to be an elder who should not engage in abusing people like Ruto who are the age of his children.”
Hitting out at the trade unionist, the MP asked the DCI George Kinoti to look into the goings-on in the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) where Atwoli is a board member.
Sudi also wants a ploy to eliminate the DP looked into denoting that he (Ruto) has a lot of followers and represents an entire tribe.
Ruto who is keen on taking the reigns of power told off Atwoli on Sunday, labeling his remarks sheer “witchcraft.”
