Questions are being asked over the incident which has seen Rachel Shebesh’s husband, Frank Shebesh, hospitalised with a bullet lodged on his leg.

Sources close to the former legislator’s family have indicated that there is more to the shooting than is being revealed.

The trajectory of the bullet lodged on the leg is a sign that Frank Shebesh was probably shot by someone else and not shot while cleaning his gun in the bedroom. The bullet entered Frank’s body at almost 90 degrees making it hard to re-imagine that he shot himself while cleaning the gun, unless he was sitting with legs folded.

The fact that Frank has handled guns for more than 15 years has also made his friends disbelieve the family version of the story.

The former MP informed members of the press at Nairobi Hospital that her husband shot himself on the leg while cleaning his gun, something which has been doubted by all. It is also not clear why the former MP’s husband was cleaning his gun in the bedroom while firearm handling procedures advices against it.
