Actor Rory Culkin has become a father for the first time after his girlfriend, cinematographer Kate Arizmendi, announced the birth of their daughter.
Kate revealed on Sunday, May 24, that the couple had welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Havoc Moon, sharing the news through Instagram Stories.
According to Kate, the newborn arrived on Saturday, May 23. She posted a photo of the sleeping baby wrapped in a blanket and shared an emotional message expressing excitement about becoming parents.
In another post, Kate shared an image taken shortly after childbirth, describing her daughter as alert and full of life only minutes after being born. She also playfully introduced the newborn as “girl baby Rory,” referencing the actor.
The couple’s daughter’s full name was later revealed as Havoc Moon Alva Culkin.
Rory, 36, and Kate, 38, have reportedly been dating since 2023. Kate is known for her work as a cinematographer on productions including the TV drama Succession and the psychological thriller Swallow.
Kate first announced her pregnancy in January 2026 through social media, sharing photos showing her baby bump and moments from the couple’s journey into parenthood. One image featured Rory reading to the unborn baby, while others included a sonogram and candid family moments.
The arrival of the baby marks a new chapter for Rory, who was previously married to Sarah Scrivener. The pair reportedly met while working on the horror film Scream 4 in 2010.
Rory is the youngest member of the famous Culkin family, which includes actors Macaulay Culkin and Kieran Culkin, both widely known for their successful Hollywood careers.
