Owner of contentious Ruaraka land Francis Mburu has revealed the names of senators who sought a Sh100 million bribe in order for them to write a favourable report on his behalf.
The businessman has cleared nominated senator Millicent Omanga’s name of any blame and instead says that those responsible are; Kimani Wamatangi (Kiambu), Moses Kajwang (Homa Bay) and Mithika Linturi (Meru).
Earlier reports indicated that Omanga who is also a member of the Public Accounts and Investments Committee as are the other three accused persons, solicited for a bribe at Laico Summit Club.
“…this lady is unknown to me or any of our four directors. No one has ever met her in the past outside the inquiry committee,” a letter addressed to Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka reads in part.
