Nandi Hills member of Parliament Alfred Keter has shoved off Deputy President Williamย Ruto’s declaration that he is ready for the lifestyle audit. He said that that if he was ready he would have declared it immediately.
“He was there with the President he should have said immediately,” Keter said.
He said that the narrative that was being pushed that some leaders are being targeted was to divert attention from fighting corruption.

“Nobody is targeted, what we are talking about is a serious issue on corruption. If you have not looted anything just relax. If you are worried we are coming for you as a country,” Keter said during an interview at NTV.

DP Ruto had said that he will be among the first leaders to present himself for the lifestyle audit.
He says that the audit was the only way the rumors and the half truths about his wealth will be demystified. He asked all public servants to follow the directive issued by the president.
