Samson Reinhart is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward and alternate captain for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Born on November 6, 1995, in West Vancouver, British Columbia, he stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs approximately 196 pounds.
Reinhart shoots right and is recognized for his high hockey IQ, scoring ability, two-way play, and consistency as a top-line center or winger.
He was selected second overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
He comes from a prominent hockey family as the son of former NHL defenseman Paul Reinhart.

Career
Reinhart developed through the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Kootenay Ice, where he had an outstanding junior career.

He won WHL Rookie of the Year honors in 2012 and was named WHL Player of the Year in 2014 after posting 105 points in 60 games.
He also represented Canada internationally at various levels, including winning gold at the IIHF World Junior Championship.
He made his NHL debut with the Buffalo Sabres in the 2014-15 season and spent seven years with the organization, developing into a reliable scorer.
In July 2021, he was traded to the Florida Panthers, where his game elevated significantly.
Reinhart has thrived in Florida’s competitive environment, forming strong chemistry with linemates and contributing to deep playoff runs.
