Born on January 19, 1991, in Southport, Merseyside, England, he grew up in the nearby town of Formby and developed his love for the game by sneaking onto the links at Royal Birkdale with his father.
Fleetwood plays primarily on the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour (formerly European Tour).
He has established himself as one of Europe’s top players, earning multiple Ryder Cup appearances and achieving a career-high world ranking inside the top three.

Tommy’s older brother, Joe Fleetwood, who is two years his senior, played a significant role in both his personal and professional life.

Career
Fleetwood’s introduction to golf came at a young age through his father Pete, a former construction worker who took him to local courses and Royal Birkdale.
He showed early promise as a junior at Formby Hall and enjoyed a successful amateur career, highlighted by winning the English Amateur in 2010 and finishing runner-up in the Amateur Championship in 2008.
