Transcend Media, a communications agency, has sued the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for failing to pay Sh150 million in advertising during the 2013 elections.

The media company that has foot prints in eight countries in Africa also wants commission’s CEO, Ezra Chiloba jailed.

According to the case filed at the Milimani Courts, the media agency wants Chiloba jailed for contempt of court.

The CEO is said to have openly defied a court order that awarded the company payment for their services.

In 2014, Transcend filed a petition seeking payment of Sh198 million for services rendered.
