    Ongoing Fundraiser For Shot Tanzanian Mp Tundu Lissu’s Transfer To US For Further Treatment

    Chadema supporters living in the diaspora have organised a fundraiser aimed at raising money to transfer Tundu Lissu, the Singida East MP to the US for specialized treatment.

    He is currently at the Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi where he was airlifted after his car was sprayed with 32 bullets with 5 bullets hitting him.

    The Chadema supporters have opened an online fundraising campaign targeting to collect $50,000.

    The campaign has already raised $2,173  so far contributed by 52 well wishers.

    He was the chief whip of the Chadema party.

    The assassination attempt on his life was carried out on Thursday last week as he was making his way home.The legislator sustained injuries to his stomach and limbs.

    He was flown to Kenya on request of his family and party members.

    He has however been said to have contracted a chest infection while in the Nairobi Hospital.
