He has accused Musalia Mudavadi of being responsible for the gun shots that were heard during the Vihiga Cultural festival. The gun shots were allegedly aimed at water cabinet secretary Eugene Wamalwa. He said that the NASA principal hired the goons behind the shooting that was meant to drive off the water cabinet secretary.

He asked the media to stop the double standards in only highlighting the ills done to NASA supporters and downplaying the ones done to Jubilee supporters.

He said that he (Musalia) was lying to himself if he thought that Raila Odinga would hand him the luo-luhya block politically.
