Eric Comrie is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who plays for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Born on July 6, 1995, in Edmonton, Alberta, he stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and catches left-handed.
He was selected by the Jets in the second round, 59th overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Siblings
Eric is the paternal half-brother of former NHL players Mike Comrie and Paul Comrie.

The family also includes an older sister, Cathy Robinson.

Career
Comrie grew up in Edmonton before moving with his family to Newport Beach, California, at age nine.
He played minor hockey with the LA Selects and was drafted by the Tri-City Americans in the WHL.
After making his WHL debut in 2011, he developed steadily despite a hip injury that limited one season.
His strong 2013-14 campaign, where he led the WHL in save percentage, helped solidify his draft stock.
He turned professional after signing an entry-level contract with the Jets in 2013 and spent several seasons primarily with the team’s AHL affiliates, the St. John’s IceCaps and Manitoba Moose, honing his skills.
Comrie made his NHL debut on April 6, 2017, with a win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.
His NHL path involved stints and waivers claims with the Arizona Coyotes, Detroit Red Wings, New Jersey Devils, and Buffalo Sabres, showcasing resilience as he moved between organizations.
Comrie has returned to the Jets multiple times, signing contracts that brought him back to familiar surroundings.
