Ali Kiba has finally responded to Diamond Platnumz invitation for him to work with Wasafi at the Wasafi Festival, by agreeing to join in as a sponsor.
The duo has had a long-standing beef and are finally taking a step to end the rivalry.
Ali Kiba responded through an Instagram post, acknowledging that he has received the invitation but will be engaged in other personal businesses on the said dates.
“Pia ndugu zangu #Wasafi tumepata salamu zenu, nashukuru kwa mualiko wenu, ila kwa bahati mbaya sitoweza kushiriki kwa sasa kutokana na majukumu ya kuzindua Mofaya katika nchi zingine,” he said.
He also notes that he cannot leave their invite hanging and will instead offer sponsorship through his energy drink business, Mofaya.
“Hata hivyo tusingependa kuwaacha hivi hivi, tupo tayari kuwapa support ya kudhamini tamasha lenu kupitia #MofayaEnergyDrink ili kuweza kusukuma mbele gurudumu la maendeleo ya sanaa yetu Tanzania na Africa,” he added.
This response comes a few days after Diamond decided that he wants to collaborate with Ali Kiba to promote Tanzania’s entertainment industry.
