President Kenyatta openly bashed the cabinet secretaries that had accompanied him to Namibia for lack of seriousness. He called out Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri for noting down what he was saying and not taking note of what the Kenyans living in Namibia were saying.
“I am looking at my brother Mwangi Kiunjuri (Agriculture CS) who has just opened his notepad to write what I am saying. But he was not interested in writing what these Kenyans are saying,” Uhuru said.
He also took issue with the trade CS Peter Munya whom he told to listen to what Kenyans were saying as they were appointed as Cabinet Secretaries to serve the public.
Uhuru then pointed out foreign affairs CS Monica for not dealing with the passport issue. He gave a directive that Kenyans living in diaspora to be handed the new generation passport. He told her that he would not speak on the issue of passport again
“Monica I wont say this again, we have agreed and must agree on a system that will help with the issuance of passports of Kenyans here,” he said.
Uhuru also bashed his Personal Assistant for looking at his watch instead of noting doen what Kenyans were saying.
” I have a long serving PA here. Look at him he is just looking at me while looking at his watch and not that which has been said. It is only me who will remember what is said here. If I don’t remember, then everything will be washed away,” he said referring to his PA.
President Uhuru Kenyatta seemed not to be backing down from the fight against corruption. He has fired a warning that he was ready to fight any close ally,brother or sister who was stealing from Kenyans.
“If you are corrupt we will fight you. You can be my brother or my sister or my closest political ally but if you are corrupt we will fight you,” he said
He said that Kenya had great potential but the burden of corruption was weighing the country down. He also said that he was dedicated to leave Kenya a united Nation and that he would not be clouded by ethnicity.

I won’t be clouded by ethnicity or status in my quest to leave behind a united nation and I will continue championing for Kenya’s unity,” President Kenyatta said.
