Career
Fati’s family relocated to Herrera in Seville when he was about five or six years old.
He began his football journey with local club CDF Herrera before joining Sevilla’s youth ranks.
In 2012, at age 10, he moved to Barcelona’s La Masia academy, where his exceptional talent quickly became evident.
He made his first-team debut for Barcelona on August 25, 2019, at just 16 years and 298 days old, becoming the youngest player to feature in La Liga for the club at the time.
Days later, he scored his first goal, setting records as Barcelona’s youngest-ever goalscorer in La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
His explosive pace, technical ability, and composure in front of goal marked him as a potential superstar.
Fati’s progress faced significant setbacks due to serious injuries, particularly knee problems that sidelined him for extended periods.
