Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) secretary general Francis Atwoli has assured the people that Deputy President William Ruto’s name will be missing on the ballot come 2022.

Speaking at a COTU fundraising for Lamu Women’s SACCO, the flashy trade unionist explained that this will be possible because the Constitution will since have changed.

“In 2022, we shall go to elections to elect the president and you will vote a lot. It will be a peaceful election because we will have changed the constitution,” Atwoli explained, adding that this move will ensure that the hustler’s close allies will be kicked out of government.

“And I want to tell you one thing, William Samoei Ruto’s name will not be there. You can take it to the bank for free,” he stated amidst cheers from the crowd,” he continued.

He further hit out at the DP accusing him of underpaying his employees over at the contentious Weston Hotel.

The highest paid staffer, Atwoli told the crowd, takes home a meagre Sh20,000 per month.

“Look at his Weston Hotel, he has employed all workers as casual. The highest paid worker at the hotel earns Sh20,000,” he said.

He in the same breath noted that Ruto’s new ally and former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale will never succeed Wycliffe Oparanya.

“Boni Khalwale will never be the governor of Kakamega County; he will die a beggar,” he stated.

Khalwale has declared his support for the DP who he previously accused of being corrupt.

Last year, he explained that after having a sit down with second in command understands where his source of wealth.

Ruto has maintained that he can account for every cent that is in his name.
