The committee succeeds the FKF Caretaker Committee whose six-month term ended this week. The composition of the new body remains largely the same with retired judge Aaron Ringera serving as the chairman and former KTN broadcaster Lindah Oguttu retaining her role as head of the secretariat. Brazilian defender Marcelo has rubbished reports that he was dropped by his former club Lyon for laughing and breaking wind. The future of Kenyan football remains uncertain after the FKF Caretaker Committee’s mandate came to a close Tuesday without election of a new office. Appointed six months ago, the retired judge Aaron Ringera’s led body was tasked with among other things to conduct FKF elections and handover to a new office at the close of their term.
