The Ministry of Health in Rwanda has imported five robots to help in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The five robots have been given Rwandan names and will be used as an interface between patients and doctors hence reducing human contact and the risk of transmitting the Corona virus. Rwanda has 284 confirmed Covid-19 cases with 140 recoveries and no fatalities. Fiba (The International Basketball Federation) Africa has organized online courses for coaches and referees in Kenya as it has been difficult for the parties to travel out of the country for training. The courses will be conducted by Fiba experts and will be done via video conferencing on Zoom. A total of 50 names were submitted to Fiba last week. Between September 6 and 10, 2001, a crime of fraud was committed from Post Bank customer service, through Western Union money transfer service terminal at the Post Bank House, where the bank lost at least Ksh3,450,000. The money was wired to Uganda from the bank using the AVZF terminal using the passwords of two employees, Lydia Kurgat and Anne Njoki. At the time of the fraud, the current ambassador to China Sarah Serem was the chief human resource officer at the Bank. Dock workers through their union have threatened to move to court once again to stop privatisation of two berths of Port of Mombasa and outsourcing of labour by the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA). The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has announced the costs for drone operations in the country. The draft fee structure details the amount you will need to pay for importation, registration, airworthiness certificate and training organization for drones. All drones have to be identifiable and will therefore require registration as an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS). KCAA will issue a certificate for registration.
