A 26-year-old man died after he was attacked using a poisoned arrow in an altercation in Chebabai village, Narok County. Police said the incident happened on Saturday night during a meeting to celebrate traditional circumcision ceremony. A disagreement broke out between the deceased Alex Sanare and the assailant over food. The assailant rushed to his nearby home and came back armed with a bow and arrow. Detectives said they are looking for the suspect who is linked to the brutal murder of a minor in Maguti village, Kendubay, Homabay County. Close to 1,000 police officers from the larger Eastern Region are the latest to be transferred from their stations in efforts to enhance strength and balancing at the National Police Service. A driver died on the spot after his vehicle collided with a trailer near the Kwamajini area along the Matuu-Thika road and burst into flames. Police said the incident happened near Sofia Market. According to police, the driver tried to jump out of the car but was unable to escape. He was trapped after the impact of the crash and burnt to death after the Friday morning incident.
