The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has recovered Sh12.46 million from Kimonge Geoffrey, a former political advisor to ex-Taita Taveta Governor John Mruttu. In a statement, EACC revealed that Kimonge fraudulently acquired the funds by applying for imprest to finance non-existent activities while serving in the county government.
