Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege on Tuesday skipped a meeting with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) citing ill health. The MP was expected to appear before the commission in an ongoing probe on vote-rigging remarks she made at a public rally in Isibuye in Vihiga County on February 10, 2022. Businessman Jimi Wanjigi has been ordered to surrender 11 firearms allegedly held illegally in a fresh guns tussle with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI). A robbery with violence suspect has been shot dead in Kawangware, Nairobi, as police intensify a crackdown on muggings bedevilling city residents. A police officer and a 15-year-old student drowned on Sunday at Keiya Earth dam in Endui village, Mwingi, Kitui County. A family in Kiminini, Trans Nzoa County, is in distress following the sudden death of their daughter in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Tot High School Principal is in trouble after several students were injured after a bandit attack on their bus on Thursday night. Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i on Friday ordered the arrest of the principal on grounds of negligence. Two teachers, 13 students and a driver, were attacked by gunmen along Arror-Tot road at Chesuman in Kerio Valley, Elgeyo Marakwet County. One person died on Thursday night after gunmen attacked a school bus along Arror-Tot road at Chesuman in Kerio Valley, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
