Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officers have confiscated Ksh238 million in foreign currencies from a traveller at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi. In a statement to newsrooms on Thursday, KRA said the suspect, a Kenya nationality, had arrived in the country from Bujumbura, Burundi. The suspect was flagged by customs offices based at the busy airport. The National Safety and Transport Authority (NTSA) has announced the suspension of seven key services following a High Court ruling delivered last month. In a public notice published in the local dailies, NTSA said it has halted licencing of driving schools, renewal of driving school licences, licensing of school instructors as well as renewal of driving school instructor licences. Four people died on Monday morning after the vehicle they were travelling in rammed into a trailer on the Namanga-Kajiado highway in Kajiado County. The accident occurred at Maili Tisa area.
