Embakasi East Member of Parliament aspirant Babu Owino has pledged his salary to the underprivileged people in the constituency should he bag the parliamentary seat in the August 8 election.

Speaking to Kiss FM, the young lad said he knows what it means to be subjected to poverty and will therefore give all his monthly earnings as a member of parliament to the poor constituents.

He also stated that people in the slum areas lack basic amenities and has a strategy to engage the youth in a monthly clean up exercise to reduce the prevalence of diseases such as cholera.

The former SONU chairman also urged Kenyans to vote for the NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga saying he has a solution to the problems facing Kenyans.

This will be the second time Owino is vying after losing the Westlands seat to Tim Wanyonyi in the 2013 General elections.

He will be contesting for the Parliamentary seat on an ODM ticket.
