Starehe Mp hopeful, Boniface Mwangi on Wednesday morning conceded defeat.

The rights activist honoured the will of the people and congratulated the Starehe people for believing in him.

In his speech, Mwangi congratulated the incoming member of Parliament.

”I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who supported me in this race. My campaign team, who worked day and night to ensure we got this far. The thousands of Kenyans who funded my campaign, thank you. To all the Kenyans who voted for me, thank you for believing in me and demonstrating your hope for building a better Kenya. We ran an honest, innovative and revolutionary campaign; we did our best. l am humbled by the love and support l got from all of you.”

Mombasa woman representative candidate Zamzam Mohamed (Wiper), Senator hopeful Jabess Oduor, Wiper’s Jomvu MP hopeful Mathias Shipeta  and Nominated Senator Emma Mburasaid  all conceded defeat setting a good precedent for other politicians who refuse to accept the will of the Kenyan people.

“Hey guys, thank you for your kind support. It wasn’t our potion for God’s time is the best time. God bless you abundantly. Congratulations sister Asha Mohammed Hussein,” Zamzam wrote on a WhatsApp group at 5am on Wednesday.
