Cancer Care Kenya, the operator of the HCG Cancer Centre in Nairobi, recorded a 71 percent increase in revenue in the financial year ended March 31, 2026, driven by growing demand for cancer treatment services and a rise in patient numbers.

Financial disclosures by its parent company, HealthCare Global Enterprises Ltd (HCG), show that the Kenyan operation generated Sh1.01 billion in revenue during the period, up from Sh593 million recorded in the previous financial year.

The strong performance highlights the increasing need for specialized cancer care services in Kenya, where the burden of cancer continues to rise and more patients seek advanced treatment options.

According to HCG’s regional performance update, the Nairobi-based facility contributed approximately five percent of the group’s total revenue during the year under review.

The growth momentum remained robust in the final quarter of the financial year, with revenue rising by 39 percent to Sh269 million, compared to Sh193 million in the corresponding quarter a year earlier.

The company attributed the improved performance to higher patient inflows, stronger operating momentum, and an expanded range of oncology services offered at the facility.

Cancer Care Kenya provides comprehensive cancer treatment services, including diagnosis, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and other advanced oncology treatments. The centre has increasingly positioned itself as a key provider of specialized cancer care in the region.

The strong revenue growth underscores the facility’s expanding role in addressing the growing demand for cancer treatment while strengthening its contribution to the broader HCG Group’s international healthcare operations.

Cancer Care Kenya forms part of HealthCare Global Enterprises’ international healthcare portfolio, which also includes fertility care provider Milann in India.
