Bank of Baroda (Kenya) Limited could have its movable assets attached and auctioned after the High Court issued a warrant to recover nearly Sh2.9 billion owed to Infinity Industrial Park Limited.
The warrant, issued on September 15, 2026, directs Moran Auctioneers to attach the bank’s movable and attachable property until the outstanding amount of Sh2,996,003,000 is recovered.
The dispute is before the High Court Commercial Division in Nairobi under Commercial Case No. E322 of 2024, where Infinity Industrial Park Limited is the plaintiff and Bank of Baroda (Kenya) Limited is the judgment debtor.
Court documents show that the bank was ordered to pay Infinity Industrial Park Sh2.996 billion following a decree issued on September 8, 2025.
A further order was made on September 1, 2026. The amount currently being pursued includes Sh2,996,000,000 as the decretal sum, Sh1,500 in further costs and another Sh1,500 listed as a collection fee.
Moran Auctioneers has been instructed to attach enough of the bank’s movable property to cover the debt and the costs arising from the attachment.
If the amount is not paid, the attached property may be sold through a public auction. The auctioneer is required to give 15 days’ notice before the sale and follow the required proclamation procedures.
The warrant also requires Moran Auctioneers to report back to the court by October 15, 2026, stating when and how it was executed or explaining why it could not be executed.
