Dizzee Rascal was born Dylan Kwabena Mills on September 18, 1984, in Bow, London.
He was raised by his mother, Priscilla, after his father—who was of Nigerian descent—passed away when Dizzee was young. His mother is of Ghanaian heritage, giving him strong West African roots.
