    DP Ruto Spokesman Threatens Journalist Over Rift In Government Article (Audio)

    David Mugonyi the spokesperson to Deputy president William Ruto has threatened a journalist attached to the Nation media group.

    David Mugonyi told journalist Justus Wanga that he would be fired if he continued on that path. The spokesman is heard telling the the journalist that he is not the first journalist.

    The phone call came after the journalist highlighted a possible rift between the president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto. He claimed the Ruto was absent in the Friday press conference because he was unhappy with some of the people in the line up.

    David Mugonyi said that Justus Wanga was reporting falsehoods and rumors, he also questioned his sources.

    Justus Wanga replied by saying that God above everything.
