DSTV Mobile is expected to officially announce a BlackBerry mobile app for their Drifta device sometime today. But we have just realised that the DSTV Mobile Decoder app is already live for download on BlackBerry App world. Though still on beta, the app will work on the following BlackBerry phones.

    • Bold 9000
    • Bold 9700
    • Curve 8520
    • Curve 8900
    • Curve 9300
The app can only be used with a Drifta dongle and you must be on a DVB-H coverage area.
You might get bugs while using the app as it is the case with most Beta apps. But you will be able to notify DSTV through this link. From the Google doc you can also give suggestions on how you expect the app to be made better. Download the DSTV Mobile app for BlackBerry here.
