Fabiola Guajardo, born Fabiola Jazmin Guajardo Martínez on January 5, 1988, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, is an actress, model, author, and musician.

Growing up in the vibrant cultural hub of Monterrey, she cultivated an early interest in performance and beauty pageants, which served as her gateway into the spotlight.

At just 19 years old, Guajardo stepped onto the national stage by competing in the Nuestra Belleza Nuevo León 2007 pageant, where she secured the position of first runner-up, and later advanced as a finalist in the prestigious national Nuestra Belleza México competition that same year.

Guajardo has become a symbol of empowerment and versatility, often portraying complex women who navigate love, ambition, and adversity with fierce determination.

    Siblings

Fabiola has a brother, Fernando Guajardo, affectionately known as Fer Guajardo.

Fernando, married to actress Michele Galván, welcomed their daughter Megan in 2022, bringing immense joy to the Guajardo clan.

Fabiola has openly expressed her adoration for little Megan, describing her as a “heart-melting” presence who fills the family with pure delight during gatherings and quiet moments alike.

    Career

Guajardo’s foray into entertainment ignited in 2007 with her pageant successes, but it was her television debut in 2011 on the telenovela Esperanza del Corazón that marked her true entry into acting.

Building momentum swiftly, she captivated audiences in 2012 as Paola Legarreta in Por Ella Soy Eva, a romantic comedy that showcased her comedic timing and emotional depth.

That same year, she embodied the resilient Norma in Corona de Lágrimas, sharing the screen with industry legends Victoria Ruffo and Maribel Guardia, further solidifying her as a rising force in Mexican soap operas.

Guajardo’s versatility shone through in subsequent roles, including the cunning Brigitte García Pabuena in De Que Te Quiero, Te Quiero (2014) and the vulnerable Isela in Yo No Creo en los Hombres (2014), opposite stars like Adriana Louvier and Gabriel Soto.

Her film credits added another dimension, with standout performances in comedies such as ¿Qué Culpa Tiene el Niño? (2016) as Daniela and the thriller El Amarre (2020).

Transitioning to streaming and international platforms, she portrayed Xochitl in the Blim series 40 y 20 and Detective Silvia in the 2021 mystery Buscando a Frida, demonstrating her adaptability to diverse genres.

More recently, Guajardo has embraced antagonistic roles with gusto, including the iconic Soraya Montenegro in Univision’s 2022 reboot of Los Ricos También Lloran—a character famously originated by Itatí Cantoral—and the layered Gloria in Telemundo’s ambitious 2025 super series La Jefa, a high-stakes drama poised to redefine her legacy.

Parallel to acting, her modeling career has graced covers of prestigious publications like Vanidades, Women’s Health, and Marie Claire México, while her pursuits as an author and musician infuse her public persona with creative breadth.

    Accolades

Guajardo’s breakthrough came in 2014 with the TVyNovelas Award for Best Co-star Actress for her riveting portrayal in Yo No Creo en los Hombres, a nod to her ability to steal scenes alongside heavyweights like Gabriel Soto and Adriana Louvier.

Building on this triumph, she clinched the TVyNovelas Award for Best Supporting Actress the following year for her nuanced performance as Gabriela Díaz in Pasión y Poder, a role that blended vulnerability and strength to resonate deeply with viewers.

Beyond awards, Guajardo’s pageant pedigree, first runner-up at Nuestra Belleza Nuevo León 2007 and national finalist, remains a foundational accolade, launching her into modeling circles where she has adorned covers of international editions of Vanidades, Women’s Health, and TVyNovelas USA.

Critical acclaim has followed her into film and series, with nominations and praise for roles in Buscando a Frida (2021) and La Jefa (2025), where her portrayal of the formidable Gloria has been hailed as a career pinnacle by outlets like ¡HOLA!.
