The newest internet sensation, ‘Githeri Man’ has today received goodies from Safaricom.
The telecommunications company gave him and his entire family phones for them to ‘catch up on the stardom.’
He and his wife got Samsung S8s while his daughter got herself a Tecno Camon.

The man whose real name is Martin Kamotho, caught the people’s attention when a picture of him eating ‘githeri’ while queueing at the polling station awaiting his turn to exercise his civic duty.
According to him, he got hungry while lining up and ran for Sh 20 githeri.
He has been on major television and radio shows all day Thursday.
The 41 year old is a resident of Kayole and works as a sweeper for the Nairobi County government.
He urged Kenyans to accept the presidential outcome.
