nasaCitizen Tv crew was on Tuesday attacked by National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters at the Wiper party headquarters at Lavington.

Journalists present have reportedly staged a walk out after Francis Gachuri (Citizen), Chris Thairu (KTN) and an NTV camera lady was slapped.

The journos walked out in protest of the attacks and for being stopped from doing their jobs.

The goons accused the said journos of being ‘pro-Jubilee.’

The opposition has since called off the ‘major announcement’ presser after the assault on members of the fourth estate.

According to the opposition, Citizen Tv’s call centre doubled up as the Jubilee party call centre during the repeat election held on October 26.

The NASA leader, Raila Odinga was expected to make a major announcement on the way forward for his supporters after President Uhuru Kenyatta was declared the duly elected President on Monday.

Odinga has said that the coalition will push for a fresh election in 90 days saying that the repeat polls overseen by Wafula Chebukati were a ‘sham.’
