A medical doctor in Machakos, Dr. Alice Kasyoka Isika, is facing disciplinary measures ordered by Governor Alfred Mutua after the medic asked the county boss to visit hospitals in Machakos and witness the sufferings of patients first hand.
According to sources in the know, Dr. Alice Kasyoka made the call through a Facebook post on Monday after which she received a letter from Dr. Jacks Ngala Nthanga who is the Chief Officer in charge of Medical Services.
Through the letter, the Chief Officer accusing the doctor of “insubordination” through the posting “derogatory posts” regarding her seniors on social media. She is on half salary and has been ordered not to leave her employment post in Machakos.
Dr. Alice Kasyoka Isika is a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician.
Many county staff members have variously accused Dr. Alfred Mutua of being ruthless to critics and just using the media to mask all the wrong things with Machakos County.
